I have a dream... 0 comments

August 28th 1963. Washington D.C.

45 years ago Martin Luther King Jr. stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and spoke these words:

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

I have a dream today."

Today that dream is a reality. Martin would be proud. We should all be proud today.

Congratulations to President-Elect Barack Obama. Tonight I see the flicker of light that is the American Dream coming back to life when it was almost extinguished.

I am happy to have been here to witness history.
